Each butcher block is built by hand from locally sourced, kiln-dried hardwood. I use Cherry, Honey Locust, and Black Locust for their strength, rich color, and beautiful grain. Every block is glued, surfaced, and finished in my Pittsburgh woodshop.

Wood Options:
• Cherry – warm, smooth, and classic
• Honey Locust – bright tone with striking grain patterns
• Black Locust – dense, durable, and naturally rot-resistant/malted

Details:
• Thickness: 1 3/4
• Side-grain construction for strength and stability
• True kiln-dried lumber (6–8% moisture)
• Sizes vary — each piece is custom built

Finish Options:
• oil finish (standard)
• Optional satin or matte protective topcoat
